A tightly closed, dust proof clamshell box for books, loose and unbound objects. Round about four-fold walled construction for additional strength. Additional base support can be provided. A very sturdy and stable box. This clamshell box can also be made from KLUG E/F corrugated board with the lamination of an additional layer of archival board. The box can be delivered with or without slits and if required with an additional base support. It is a very sturdy and stable type of box.

KS 17 Trier KS 17 "Trier" is a tightly closed, dust proof clamshell box with an extra stable, round about, six-fold walled construction (closed box with lid) for graphic collections and for extremely heavy and valuable objects. Smooth interior and exterior surfaces. Extra support is provided in the base and lid sections of the box. Available either with or without ribbons. The KS 17 is often used for incunabulum collections.
KS 17 Albertina

KS 17 "Albertina" is a tightly closed, dust proof clamshell box with extra supports ideally suited for heavy and bulky objects and for graphic collections. Smooth interior and exterior surfaces. Round about eight-fold walled construction (closed condition of the box) for additional strength. Additional base and lid support is also provided. Totally dust-proof yet also breathable. The boxes are made of one piece, for very large sizes/formats of two pieces, stuck on the backs. The adhesives used for glueing are made of animal glue and are durable. Very suitable for graphic collections. The boxes are delivered, folded together, on a EURO-pallet.
