Trier: A reinforced transfer box/print box for very heavy and valuable materials, with a smooth inside and outside. Sixfold thickness all around. Available with or without closure strap and additional inlays in the bottom and the lid. Often used for incunabulum collections.
Albertina: A reinforced transfer box for very heavy and valuable materials. Very suitable for chart collections etc. with smooth inside and outside. All-round eight-fold thickness and additional inlay in base and lid. Dust-proof, yet also breathable. The boxes are made of one piece or, for very large sizes, of two pieces (glued to the back). The adhesives used for gluing are made of animal hot-melt glue (hide glue). These boxes are delivered folded together.
Solander: An ageing-resistant transfer box, covered with natural linen. Made in accordance with the best bookbinding method, using massive museum cardboard and a linen covering. The boxes are delivered completely upright.
