For dry cleaning, removal of soot, dirt and smoke deposits from various surfaces.

 

AKA cleaningmaterials

Cleaning materials available in sponge and powder form for various applications. Akapad sponges are specially developed for cleaning wood and metal surfaces. The sponges are available in two different versions, the "Classic" and the "Sensitive" version, pumice-based or lime-based. Size 90x67x42 mm (LxWxH)

All sponges can be applied for dry cleaning of surface soiling.

 

  • The "Classic" is particularly suitable for use on walls, ceilings, paintings, frescos, murals, wallpaper, textiles, paint layers, etc. For removing stubborn dirt (slight oxidation) and when used on rough surfaces, the ultra-hard sponge lasts significantly longer.

 

  • The "Sensitive" contains no chlorine and sulphur and has a pH neutral value. Thus, this series complies with the ICN guidelines for surface cleaning of paper, with no adverse effects.

AKA Tissue 810.AKATE4145

A cleaning cloth; size 88x88x5 mm, with the same (minimal) active ingredients as the AKApad white, pure (see above). Ideal for cleaning paper objects, but also excellent for cleaning hard-to-reach parts of, for example, a sculpture.
AKA Wipe powder 810.WIS

For dry cleaning of various materials such as paper, documents, maps and textiles. Cleaning can be carried out manually or with tools, machines; e.g. rotary felt discs (eccentric grinders).

Available in: soft (4301) and white (4351), for very sensitive, paper objects. Packed in 500g a bag.
Draft clean powder 810.DCP

A very fine cleaning powder, for cleaning fragile, mouldy paper and parchment.
Dust Bunny 810.DB

Microfibre cloth. Combines excellent textile and mechanical properties. Like all microfibre cloths, it is soft and lightweight, but also extremely durable. The cloth can be washed many times (up to 95°).
